- Local Planning Authority (LPA) submits LDP and prescribed documents to Planning and Environment Decisions Wales (PEDW)
- Examination webpages go live
- Inspector and Programme Officer appointed
Examination
- Inspector issues Initial Letter
- Matters and Issues (MIQs) published
- Hearing statements submitted
- Hearing sessions held
- Inspector issues Action Points / notes
Post-hearing
- Council publishes Matters Arising Changes (MACs), if required
- 6-week consultation on MACs
- Representations on MACs published
- Inspector considers MACs reps and finalises report
Inspector’s Report and Adoption
- Inspector issues Report
- Council adopts the LDP with recommended changes
