The replacement Local Developement Plan follows a set process:

 

Submission (Reg 22)

  • Local Planning Authority (LPA) submits LDP and prescribed documents to Planning and Environment Decisions Wales (PEDW)
  • Examination webpages go live
  • Inspector and Programme Officer appointed

Examination

  • Inspector issues Initial Letter
  • Matters and Issues (MIQs) published
  • Hearing statements submitted
  • Hearing sessions held
  • Inspector issues Action Points / notes

Post-hearing

  • Council publishes Matters Arising Changes (MACs), if required
  • 6-week consultation on MACs
  • Representations on MACs published
  • Inspector considers MACs reps and finalises report

Inspector’s Report and Adoption

  • Inspector issues Report
  • Council adopts the LDP with recommended changes
